Chill Bros, founded by the entrepreneurial Chillura siblings in 2020, has quickly made a name for itself with its unique, small-batch ice cream creations. With five scoop shops in Tampa and a growing reputation, they're now bringing their flavors to St. Pete, aiming to make a sweet impact on the local community.
"We're excited to introduce St. Pete to our unique ice cream experience. Our goal is to become an integral part of this vibrant city's food culture," shares Elisa Davis, Chill Bros' events and marketing manager.
The Art of Gelato
What sets Chill Bros apart is their dedication to the art of gelato-making. Founder Max Chillura honed his skills in Bologna, Italy, the birthplace of gelato, and this expertise is evident in every scoop. Their ice cream is crafted from scratch, using a custard base made with fresh Florida milk and cream, along with natural ingredients like cane sugar and salt. No artificial stabilizers or emulsifiers here!
"The attention to detail and the use of natural ingredients really elevate the ice cream experience. It's a true craft, and we're proud to bring that level of quality to St. Pete," Davis adds.
A Flavorful Lineup
For their pop-up event, Chill Bros will offer a tantalizing selection of around ten flavors. From classics like Mad Vanilla Bean and Birthday Cake to customer favorites such as Double Down Oreo and The Malty Millionaire, there's something for every ice cream lover. The Malty Millionaire, in particular, is a standout, featuring chocolate-covered shortbread squares and a generous swirl of house-made salted caramel.
"We want to showcase the diversity of our flavors and give St. Pete a taste of what makes us unique. Our ice cream is an experience, and we can't wait for people to try it," Davis says with enthusiasm.
Local Connections
But Chill Bros isn't the only local favorite at this event. Green Bench's resident food truck, Offset Sandwich Exchange, will also be on-site, offering a perfect savory complement to the sweet treats. And for those seeking a floral touch, a local flower vendor will add a touch of nature to the culinary experience.
"It's all about creating a well-rounded experience. We want people to enjoy the ice cream, but also to discover the other amazing local businesses we have here in St. Pete," Davis explains.
